About the treatment
It starts with a consultation and a full assessment with Dr. Nicole. She explains the options with and without surgery for your anatomy, concerns and medical history. Operations take place at a licensed hospital or surgical facility, and she coordinates the planning and follow up.
Adults who are medically fit for surgery and anaesthesia, with concerns that treatments without surgery cannot fully address, and realistic expectations about results, recovery and scars.
Preparation is personal. It can include a medical history and examination, a review of your medicines, blood tests, an anaesthesia assessment and stopping smoking.
Every operation carries risks, such as pain, swelling, bruising, bleeding, infection, scarring and complications of anaesthesia. Dr. Nicole explains the risks, the expected scars and the recovery for your procedure before you decide.
Every plan is different, so the price is quoted after your consultation with the surgeon.

Specialist Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon
Dr. Nicole studied medicine at the University of Tolima in Colombia and trained as a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at the University of Sinú. She has 10 years of experience in Colombia and the UAE, with a focus on body contouring, breast surgery and procedures guided by ultrasound.
At The Skin Lab she sees patients for consultations, surgical planning, follow up and treatments without surgery. Operations take place at licensed hospitals and surgical facilities. She is a member of ISAPS, ASAPS and the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery.

At a licensed hospital or surgical facility, not inside The Skin Lab. The consultation, the planning and the follow up go through the clinic.
She holds consultations at The Skin Lab on Wednesday and Thursday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Surgery dates depend on the operating theatre schedule.
It varies a lot with the operation. Dr. Nicole explains the recovery and the follow up visits for your procedure at the consultation.
The consultation has a fee. If you go ahead with a treatment, the fee is deducted from the treatment price.
